WELL! First thing is, we got a rabbit, and the rabbit, true to its nature, got busy right away chewing on cords, and chewed on our computer cords, which has made our computer practically useless.
And I just haven't had the thought to sit down and write a blog post in awhile!
But much has happened since April!
At least, I think it has, lots of little things, 2 months of lots of little wondrous things that can't really be explained in a blog post...We celebrated our 6 year anniversary which was a big thing!
My dad came to watch our lil' darlings and Eric and I rode off into the sunset and had a lovely weekend with bike rides, bridges, banter, beaches and perhaps a raccoon or two visiting.
And of course, we realize, we REALLY need to do this more often!
Oliver has been blabblering away, he's currently obsessed with motorcycles and dirtbikes and car rides have almost been painful with him having to point out every motorcycle he sees and then proceed to ask every person in the car THREE TIMES EACH if they saw it too. It's also the last thing he wants to hear about when we snuggle in bed.
It's cute:)
Rosalie has had a couple of orientations for kindergarten *GASSP* and has abs-o-loot-ley loooooved them. Dream world beware! All she needs is to find a classmate named Lisa (her imaginary friend:)
She also had a big growth spurt and FINALLY jumped up a couple shoe sizes!! Go Rosie Grow! She is loving this warm weather and sports fancy skirts or dresses first thing in the morning. sometimes she likes to wear her 'next day' clothes to bed...:)
My 5-year-old ISAAC is also growing like a weed, particularly his arms and KNEES which thank goodness it's shorts weather because all his pants had holes in the knees (sorry Oliver!)
Isaac has taken an exceptional fancy to sports, especially to baseball and he's getting quite good. Anything on the move is good for Isaac! We got to go on a field trip the the African Lion Safari which was fun, and I got to spend some time getting to know his classmates and some other parents as well a bit better. Lots of really great kids, Isaac has made a bestie called Nathan who is adorable. Although I've told them my name millions of times all the kids call me "Isaac's-Mom" even when asking me a question or saying hello.
It's been awesome getting to know more families in the neighbourhood as well as the warm weather brings out people I never even knew lived so close to me!
Next week I am going to be starting to care for our friends 1 year old daughter three days a week as her mom heads back to the work-world! WE are excited to have her and looking forward to having another playmate in the house.
I'm afraid I don't have any recent photos on the computer but will be adding some soon!
Welcome, Summer! Be kind!
