Beach, Balloons, & Babies

We've been hitting the beach regularly this year, all the kids just LOVE it and it's a great way to spend the morning. We've also been strawberry picking, although I Rosalie threw herself onto daddy's back 5 minutes into it and wouldn't continue as she was far too tired so I was picking as fast as I could to beat Oliver who was consuming a strawberry per second before he made himself sick. Isaac did the best and was very careful and required me to inspect each strawberry he picked BEFORE he put it in his basket to avoid a 'bad berry' (He has had two bad experiences of puking on the way home so he was careful not to eat too many) so this all resulted in myself not actually taking pictures DURING picking but I snapped a few on the way home. Some happy campers right there!
We've also been doing a weekly 'baby group + my kids'. as we have two neighbours with new baby's not to mention several close friends with wee babes all born within a couple months of each other, this is quite the delightful time!! It's cute seeing them all together, crying, smiling, kicking, lovin', squeezin'. Etc. I particularly enjoy the plethora of babes to schnuggle. It fills a void in my life. Next year we'll get a puppy.
Anyway, Oliver sometimes likes to pretend he's also a baby but now moreso just races around mocking them ('crying' when they cry and then laughing about it, little turkey!) Rosalie is a bit indifferent actually but she likes tickling their toes and giggling in extremely high pitched tones, and Isaac seems to like the babies most of all, he makes his rounds asking to hold each one and once he has them he takes it VERY seriously. He's actually REALLY good at holding them, being very caring and natural. He's going to be one good Daddy:)

We're stayin' cool! Isaac started riding a 2 wheeler, Rosalie has been drawing whales and earwigs, and Oliver lost his big toenail. Weird. Also Oliver has been talking a lot. He's a little ham that guy!

Isaac loves the water but one of his favourite things to do after is curl up covered in blankets and just lie there quietly.

Rosalie has been very into 'princesses and tea parties' lately. I asked her to look like a princess and this is the exact pose she struck

My garden doth grow this year!

#100!- They climb a tree and scrape their knee

100 posts! I think I'm going to stop putting the number in front now. I hope the change doesn't change your interest in my blog. Likely you are a family member if you are reading this, so I doubt it will;)

The children are growing and growing!
I believe it's true, the sun and fresh air makes them grow even faster. Probably also because they get more sleep.
I'll be doing a big post on how everyone is doing and how they are developing in a couple months, most likely till then it will just be pictures of our summer fun!

Oh, also we celebrated our 5 year anniversary! It was SO nice to have nearly 48 hours without the children in the house. We slept in, went out for breakfast, watched a movie in the middle of the day, went for a bike ride, and just took 'er easy; and did NO housework. And of course, ended the event with love and compassion; Letting Eric take me to dinner at Mcdonalds:)

#99- Practically summer!

Spring's sprung, garden has started to be planted, shorts have been dug out, campfires been lit, family visits up north have (finally!) happened!
See below:
In a flurry of activity before Eric had to go to work I realized we were both still wearing the crowns Rosie put on us. Grabbed this photo before he left

She's so cute!! Sarah with only a few weeks left

Celebrating a friend from Sanctuary's birthday with a campfire and cake!

Cousins:)

Isaac asked for multiple shots of him on the 4-wheeler:)

Here we go 'round the tree!
Oliver loooves to give hugs, Millie got a little sick of it after awhile
